Unveiling the Illusion: A Journey of Truth
“And he said, ‘Whoever discovers the interpretation of these sayings will not taste death.’” — The Gospel of Thomas, The Nag Hammadi Library, translated by Stephen Patterson and Marvin Meyer. The Gnostic Society Library.
My life began in chaos. Born into a fractured family, I experienced firsthand what it means to be labeled as undesirable, judged by possessions rather than character. At the time, I couldn’t see the hidden blessing in my circumstances. But as the years passed, I grew grateful for the harsh lessons. They stripped away any illusions of superiority, forcing me to confront the raw, unvarnished reality of human nature in a way few ever do.
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:32
Unfortunately, over the years, the unhealed wounds from systemic abuse by family, friends, co-workers, and a society determined to dismantle the family unit took their toll. Yet, through each challenge and hardship, one thing emerged: my connection with an unseen force, the universal God present in all things. Like a computer program embedded in everything, God guides us back whenever we stray, with one crucial caveat — we must not let the hardships close off our hearts.
Sometimes, I feel like an error in the system. How is it that God reveals to me what others cannot fathom? If others saw the world as I do, they wouldn’t be able to handle it. The full understanding of “real” base reality contradicts what we, as humans, are trained to believe and what we’re taught in schools that more closely resemble government indoctrination camps, designed to imprison our youth in the same systemically abusive structures controlled by an unseen force of evil.
If God revealed these truths to me, why is it that when I share them with others, they experience a system override, unable to comprehend the full scope? Instead of seeking change, they retreat into the mundane, fearful of the truths I’ve shared. They admit to being sheep, trained to follow and afraid of standing out or knowing the truth. Did their souls not contract with God to awaken in this lifetime? Was my agreement with God to come here and attempt to create change? What is the meaning of life? Is it to accumulate material things we can’t take with us to the great beyond?
Please join me on my journey of self-discovery as I contemplate the meaning of life and reveal the hidden mysteries that many profound minds have tried to teach us through the ages. After years of seeking, I’ve discovered that the truth is right in front of us, yet just out of reach for the uninitiated. Even those who claim to know the truth often reveal through their actions that they do not fully understand it.
Jesus said, “Look, the sower went out, took a handful of seeds, and scattered them. Some fell on the road, and the birds came and gathered them. Others fell on rock, and they didn’t take root in the soil and didn’t produce heads of grain. Others fell on thorns, and they choked the seeds and worms ate them. And others fell on good soil, and it produced a good crop: it yielded sixty per measure and one hundred twenty per measure.” — The Gospel of Thomas, The Nag Hammadi Library, translated by Stephen Patterson and Marvin Meyer.
